The couple in question, Ariel and Michael, had their first child, Ariel, when she was 24 years old. Since then, they have had a new son almost every year, and their children’s ages range from 10 to one year old.

Ariel met her husband, Michael, in 2005 when she was just 18 years old, and they got married two years later. Unfortunately, they experienced the loss of their first baby, but they have since been blessed with six boys. Currently, Ariel is 16 weeks pregnant with their seventh child, and she openly expresses her desire to have a girl. While both Ariel and Michael hope for a daughter, Ariel admits to experiencing some disappointment regarding the gender of her previous pregnancies. However, she emphasizes that she wouldn’t trade her sons for a daughter and that her desire for a girl stems from wanting to experience the mother-daughter relationship.

During her most recent pregnancy, Ariel had mixed feelings about the baby’s gender, sometimes thinking it was a boy and other times feeling like it could be a girl. In an unexpected turn of events, Ariel woke up in labor in the early hours of December 4. Her husband, Michael, quickly set up the camera and birthing kit in their bathroom when they realized the midwife couldn’t make it in time. At 3:20 a.m., Ariel delivered their seventh baby, and to their surprise, it was a baby girl.

Ariel described feeling shocked by the gender reveal, as did Michael. While their sons were excited, Ariel believes they found it unbelievable. The video of their shocked reaction after discovering the baby’s gender during the home birth went viral, accumulating over 400,000 views.

For their last three children, the Tysons decided not to find out the gender before birth, preferring to enjoy the pregnancies without the added pressure or expectations.
