“When you’re about to give birth to a baby who weighs nearly five kilograms, standing up in the hospital.

Childbirth remains one of my favorite subjects to photograph as it showcases the incredible capabilities of our bodies.

This birth would typically take place at home, but we opted for one of the local Denver hospitals known for excellent support of home births in the area. Choosing a hospital that respects your birthing choices can make all the difference if the need for a transfer arises.
