Nothing is more unpleasant to us than when we are about to go out, we get dressed and we realize that our shirts are stained with deodorant. We may have tried some highly recommended commercial products, but we are not seeing the expected results.
As we already mentioned, the market offers numerous products to remove stains from clothes, however, we have other homemade and very effective alternatives available.
Tricks to remove deodorant stains
Remember that it is always convenient to do a test in an inconspicuous area of your garment, because there are colors that fade easier than others, as well as there are more resistant fabrics than others.
It is advisable not to dry the clothes in a tumble dryer, because the heat probably sets the stain more on the garment.
Salt
We start by adding in 1 liter of hot water, about 4 tablespoons of salt and mix until dissolving well.
Then, we immerse and impregnate 1 sponge in the mixture and rub it in the area of the stain, until it is eliminated.
Lemon
First, we mix in equal parts lemon juice and water.
Then, the mixture is applied to the stain to be removed, we also add 1 teaspoon of baking soda and scrub.
To finish, we wash the garment as we usually do.
Vinegar
First, we pour 1 splash of vinegar on the clothes stain.
Then, we rub the area before taking it to the washing machine.
As a last step, we do a regular wash.
Sodium bicarbonate
We prepare a paste, mix 4 tablespoons of baking soda with 1/4 cup of warm water.
Then we rub the stained area and let it dry for about 2 hours.
Finally, we wash the garment as we usually do.
Tip: In this trick you can add 1 splash of vinegar in the washing machine.
Another trick is to use 3 aspirins to remove deodorant stains from clothes:
We start by dissolving 3 aspirins in 1/2 cup of water and mixing them well.
Then, we proceed to apply it to the spots and leave it for a few hours.
Next, we wash the garment with a little liquid soap.
Finally, we rub the affected areas with a brush to remove deodorant stains.
Another trick is to use sea salt to remove deodorant stains from clothes:
First, we moisten the garment and put a little salt on it.
Let it act for a few hours, preferably several hours.
Then, we remove the salt, rinse and again add salt.
Next step, we leave it for a few more hours.
Finally, we wash the garments as we usually do.
