1- Closure that has slipped off the rail
Hold the rail with a pair of pliers, at the same time open the side with a flathead screwdriver. The opening you create should be small, just enough to fit the piece that has come out. Once you manage to accommodate both parts, put a little pressure to join all the elements and move the closure from top to bottom.
2- Broken puller
Sometimes due to use, or desperation, we break or literally we are left with the shooter in hand. One solution is that with the help of the screwdriver you slightly lift the part where the element was anchored and insert a thin strip of cloth.
3- Stuck
No one knows for sure what got it stuck, but what you can do is put some lip balm or Vaseline on your teeth. This will make it easier for it to slide.
4- Missing “teeth”
You will only need: glue, swab and scissors. Cut the plastic swab tube into pieces as small as you can. Once you have a fragment, cut one end, open with a cut and fit in the part that is missing the “tooth”.
